Day program participants will have opportunities to engage in fun, interactive interest-based activities that enhance their communication and social skills while making genuine connections with peers and their community.

Who is this program for:
Individuals 18 -45 who face challenges in learning and communication, individuals with Autism, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, or any other neurodevelopmental conditions.
Individuals who want to learn life skills so they can feel more comfortable doing things independently at home and they want to establish and learn how to maintain genuine relationship
Feels comfortable and is able to participate in community outings within a group ratio of 1 staff, 5 participants
Individuals who can regulate their emotions without becoming aggressive towards themselves or others
Fairly independent in the bathroom, may need verbal prompts
Program hours: 9:00am – 3:30pm
Cost: $105/ per day
PASSPORT & ODSP FUNDING ACCEPTED
Enrollment: Enroll in 12-week sessions (Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring)
Part-time (min 2 days) and full-time spots are available (10% off when enrolled for 5 days/week)

Program hours: 9:00am – 3:30pm
Cost: $105/ per day * Spots are limited for this program
Work Experience 1:1 support: Additional $35/per hour (Family determines the number of work experience hours/week)

FAQ
What happens after I apply?
You will get a phone call 3-7 business days after you have submitted your online intake/waitlist form. During this phone call, we will confirm and discuss the needs of the applicant. If after this phone call, we feel the applicant is a good fit, the applicant will be invited to join 1 to 2 half-day sessions. It’s important that the program be a good fit for clients and their families. To participate in the trial visits, parents will be asked to sign a waiver and fill out an emergency contact form. After the trial visit(s), the Program Director/Manager will assess the suitability of the program for the client and discuss further questions. When a decision to proceed has been made, parents/caregivers will be sent an email with the Life Skills Day Program contract/ Participant agreement, Parent Handbook and payment information.
Can participants pick the days they want to attend?
Yes, as long as the days you have requested are available.
The 12-week session has already begun. Do I have to wait until the next session begins?
If we have spaces available you can join mid-way into a session. Fees will be prorated.
If the participants goes on vacation during their 12-week session will they get money back for those days that were missed
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds.
Will we be given receipts?
Yes, you will get a receipt via email once we have received your full payment
Can my high school child attend Saturday and weekends respite sessions?
Yes. Saturday and weekend respite programs are for individuals aged 6 +
